The large weathered wooden terrace of Villa Nadia overlooks the turquoise sea. It feels like Bali, between palm trees, deckchairs in exotic wood and the immaculate four-poster bed. The lush vegetation climbs along the pergola. The sun passes through the large bay windows, which open directly onto the sea. Inside, the decoration combines contemporary Zen and bohemian-chic touches. Wicker statuettes, paintings and hanging lamps are memories of travels around the world. In the bedrooms, the walls are adorned with duck blue, emerald green or taupe. The atmosphere is more subdued, like a cocoon where one would come to take refuge at dusk. When you wake up, take a dip in the beautiful infinity pool in azure mosaics, before going for a stroll through the fragrant stalls of the Sagone market. On the terrace of the Pierre Geronimi glacier, an institution in the region, you hesitate between exotic sorbets: Corsican citrus, coconut from Thailand or Timut pepper from Nepal. Back at the villa, we take a nap on the canoe-like deckchair, in the shade of an umbrella. At 6 p.m., it’s aperitif time.
